One Hundred and Thirty years ago, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji (the 33rd Peethadhipati of the illustrious Sringeri Jagadguru Parampara) established Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala on Shravana Shukla Shashthi of the Manmatha year (1895 CE).
