Sri Subrahmanya Shashthi celebrations at Sringeri
On November 26, 2025, marking Subrahmanya Shashthi, a special puja was performed at the shrine of Sri Balasubrahmanya Swami at noon. Archakas performed Phala-Panchamruta Abhisheka to Sri Balasubrahmanya Swami, followed by Tīrtha Abhisheka to the chanting of Sri Rudra, Chamaka, Narayana Sukta, Kumara Sukta, and other Veda Mantras. Mangalarati was then performed in the presence of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam.
Earlier in the evening, Deepotsava at the temple of Sri Subrahmanya Swami in Sacchidanandapura was celebrated.
Later in the evening, Deepotsava, Maha Mangalarati and Ashtavadhana Seva were offered to Sri Balasubrahmanya Swami. This was followed by the chanting of Sri Subrahmanya Bhujangam by the Pandits & Vidyarthis of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala, along with the devotees gathered at the temple.
After the Deepotsava at the temple of Sri Balasubrahmanya Swami, Deepotsava was also celebrated at Sri Naga-devata shrine located at the base of the Ashwattha tree in Narasimhavanam.
At Gurunivas, during the nightly Chandramoulishwara Puja, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed a special Mangalarati to Sri Subrahmanya Swami.

Mahapradosha celebrations at Sringeri
With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam, the Pradosha Sangha of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala conducted the Shakti Ganapati Mahapradosha on November 17, 2025 at the shrine of Sri Shakti Ganapati inside the Goddess Sharadamba temple.
On the auspicious day, Vidyarthis performed Shatarudra Abhisheka and Sahasra Atharvasheersha Abhishekha to Lord Shakti Ganapati from morning till noon. Sahasra Modaka Homa, Rudra Homa and Ashtadravya Homa as well as Veda Parayana were performed by the Pandits of the Pathashala. The Poornahuti of the Homas and the Mahamangalarati were offered to Sri Shakti Ganapati.
In the evening, Mahapradosha Pooja was offered to Sri Shakti Ganapati following which a procession carrying the Utsava Murti of Lord Shakti Ganapati took place along the main streets of Sringeri. The festival observed with great fervour ended with Mahamangalarati and distribution of Prasada.

Kartika Somavara Puja
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed Kartika Somavara Puja on October 27, November 3, 10 and 17 with an elaborate worship of Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon amidst chanting of Veda Mantras by the Pandits of the Sringeri Math and the Vidyarthis of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala, Sringeri.

Tungabhadra Arati & Kartika Laksha Deepotsava
From Kartika Shukla Ekadashi to Purnima (November 1 to 5), the Tungabhadra Arati culminating with Laksha Deepotsava was celebrated at Sringeri with grandeur.
Every evening, during the Mahotsava, Teppotsavas of the major deities in the precincts of the Sringeri Math took place. Prior to the commencement of the Teppotsava, 7 Ritwiks performed shodashopachara Puja on the northern banks to the river Goddess with Dhoopa, Deep and Naivedya. At 7 pm, Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam arrived and offered Pushparchana and Mangalarati to the beautiful Murtis of Goddess Sharadamba, Goddess Tungabhadra and Sri Varaha Swamy placed on the southern bank of the river in Narasimha Vanam.
Immediately afterward, the Teppotsava commenced with the decorated boat carrying the deity. With the boat in front of the Jagadguru, Mangalarati was performed to the deity. As the Teppotsava continued, the Tungabhadra Arati comprising a number of special Aratis by the 7 Ritwiks took place with the Jagadgurus witnessing from the southern bank.
On November 1, In the morning, Laksha Tulasi Archana was performed to Sri Janardhana Swami and Mangalarati took place in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.
On the first evening of the Mahotsava (November 1, Ekadashi), Teppotsava of Sri Janardana Swami took place in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.
On November 2, Teppotsava of Sri Shankaracharya took place in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam. Earlier in the day, a special Puja (Shata Rudra Abhisheka) was performed at the Sri Adi Shankaracharya Sannidhi.
At Narasimhapura, as part of the Kartika Laksha Deepotsava, Poornahuti of Dhatri homa took place in the morning and in the evening, deepotsava took place at Sri Lakshminarasimha Sannidhi and other shrines.
On November 3, Teppotsava of Sri Uma Maheshwara, Sri Shakti Ganapati and Sri Subrahmanya Swami took place in the Jagadguru’s divine presence.
On November 4, special Puja with Laksha Mallika Archana was performed to Sri Sharadamba with Teppotsava of Sri Sharadamba taking place in the evening in the Jagadguru’s divine presence.
On November 5, Kartika Purnima, Purnahuti of Maharudra Homa took place in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam in the morning and in the evening, Laksha Bilvarchana was performed to Lord Malahanikareshwara. Late in the evening, Mahamangalarati was performed at 6 pm in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam. Then Krittikotsava and Jwala Torana were performed. Laksha Deepotsava was also held with Sri Sannidhanam commencing the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp in front of the Malahanikareshwara temple. Devotees lit numerous deepas along the path from Ishwaraigiri to the Sringeri Rajagopuram and within the sacred precincts of the Math. The Utsava Murtis of Goddess Bhavani and Malahanikareshwara were carried in a procession. Golden Rathotsava of Goddess Sharadamba took place inside the Sharadamba temple in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam.
At night after the Sri Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam graced the Tungabhadra Arati and Teppotsava of the Utsava Murtis of Goddess Sharadamba along with those of Sri Bhavani, Sri Malahanikareshwara, Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Sri Vidyashankara.

Aradhana and Ratha Mahotsava of Sri Vidyashankara Swami
The 692nd Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji was observed reverentially on October 28, 2025. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Jeeva Samadhi location of the 10th Acharya.
The following day (October 29), Sri Vidyashankara Rathotsava carrying the Utsava Moorti of the deity took place. Sri Mahasannidhanam arrived at the temple in the morning, had Darshan, witnessed the Mangalarati and were present as the prayers to the deity to ascend the Ratha was chanted. Thereafter, the Rathotsava took place.
As part of the Celebrations, a Maharudra was conducted on the occasion over a 5-day period with the Poornahuti taking place on October 30. Sri Vidyashankara Teppotsava took place the same evening in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.
