With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam, Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam started from Sringeri from May 22, 2026 to May 28, 2026 Vijaya Yatra in Nepal.

On May 22nd, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam, as part of the Nepal Vijaya Yatra arrived at Kathmandu, Nepal, in the afternoon. Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam was received at the Pashupatinath Temple with a grand procession accompanied by traditional local dance performances. Thereafter, Sri Sannidhanam graced the sabha “आयोजित” within the temple premises, where Dhuli Padapuja was performed. Later, Sri Sannidhanam delivered a brief Anugraha Bhashanam.

In the evening, Sri Sannidhanam visited the Pashupatinath Temple and had darshan of Lord Pashupatinath.

Later, Sri Sannidhanam visited the Ram Mandir and had darshan of Lord Sri Rama. Sri Sannidhanam then graced the sabha and delivered an Anugraha Bhashanam.

Thereafter, Sri Sannidhanam returned to the Pashupatinath Temple and completed the nightly Sri Chandramoulishwara Puja.

Instagram : After a long gap of 60 years, Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham is visiting Nepal. Kathmandu aastikas gathered in huge numbers to welcome the Jagadguru with great pomp and ceremony. The whole atmosphere was resounding with the chanting of the Vedas and the devout buzz of the gathered aastikas.
